RSPCA is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation that rescues, treats, and rehomes animals, advocates for animal welfare, and works to prevent cruelty to animals by enforcing the law and promoting better treatment and care.

The RSPCA is an independent, community-based charity providing animal care and protection services across the country.

Our role - The state and territory member Societies provide services to animals in need through their shelters and inspectorates. In the national office, RSPCA Australia works to influence animal welfare policy, practice and legislation across the country

Each state and territory RSPCA is responsible for their own operations in their region.
