The Ricketts Point Sanctuary foreshore area between the McGregor Avenue ramp (opposite 365 Beach Road) and the disabled Divers ramp at the southern end of the Beaumaris Yacht Club car park (opposite 402 Beach Road) is a dog off leash area. This is a total length of 870m. Our dog loves the beach because there are lots of things washed up on the beach to sniff. Free parking is quite difficult to find but there is ticketed parking in the Beaumaris Yacht Club car park B17. There are at least four places with steps between the beach and Beach Road and bins are strategically placed in a number of locations. There are toilets and bins east of the car park.

Dogs are permitted off leash at all times.
Dogs are prohibited at all times on all inter-tidal rock platforms and dogs must be on-leash including on all coastal paths.
