Woolgoolga Back Beach Dog Off Leash Area

On the south side of Woolgoolga headland, this 2.1km long beach offers a great place to go fishing, walk the dog and watch the kite surfers. You can also walk up a path to the lookout to get a great view to the south. This beach is not patrolled by lifeguards. You can walk your dog on Woolgoolga Back Beach off the leash except during Little Tern breeding season. During the breeding season the area is signposted and you must keep your dogs on a leash at all times. Be careful of 4WD vehicles which are permitted to drive on the beach.
