McIvor Reserve Fenced Dog Park

In the north west corner is a good sized fenced dog park which is L-shaped and has a rock mound and some agility equipment comprising three hurdles of different heights and some weave poles. The fences are nice and high - about the only thing jumping over these fences are kangaroos. There are a number of entrances to the fenced area and bins near each one. Near the mound is a seat, water tap with bowl and a bin.

The reserve is huge and has six sports fields where dogs are allowed off leash except when games or training is in progress. In the north east corner is a baseball field (Hanks Reserve) which is an on leash area. The eastern side has a pavilion and a playground (dogs must be on leash within 30m of the playground). The playground area has a shelter with tables, BBQ, bin and water tap with bowl.

As well as the fenced area there is a decent space between the fenced area and the sports fields. This park is a winner with the fenced area and extensive areas to run off leash.
