Located within Yarraville Gardens, Greelish Oval has a turf cricket oval, as well as a dog off-lead area. In the south-east corner is an oval (Gary Greelish Oval), toilets and bin.

Time Restrictions

Dogs are not allowed on the oval during organised sporting events and during the period 10am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday from November 1 to April 30.

In the north east corner is the Barbara Beyer Reserve where dogs are allowed off leash without time restrictions. This rectangular area, which is fenced from Whitehall Street, has a shaded seat, water tap with bowl and bin.

Along Whitehall Street, there is a car parking area which provides the best access to the off leash areas The rest of the huge park including Hanmer Reserve, central area and playground area are dog on leash areas. It is a lovely area near the excellent playground which has tables, BBQs and lots of bins.

Except for the Barbara Beyer Reserve and Greelish Oval (see above exceptions) dogs must be on a lead in all other areas of the Yarraville Gardens.
