The dog off-lead area is a huge green grassy area, 250m x 120m in size, bordered by a playground on the east side (with a fence in between). There are some unshaded seats around the perimeter. Almost all the park has fences around it except for a few exit points on the south side. The reserve has two cricket pitches and cricket nets. There is a bin and water tap (bring own bowl for the dog) at the western end near the pavilion.
