Jacksons Creek divides the reserve into two parts. Across the bridge to the north is a good sized grassy area dotted with trees without any time restrictions. On the southern side of the creek which bulges to form a lake with steep sides it is only an off-leash area between 5pm and 8am Monday to Friday and all day on weekends. This area has a water tap with bowl and a bin near the carpark along Vaughan Street. This area also has a shelter with two tables and a number of other tables scattered about.
