Seagull Paddock is an open space drainage reserve with scenic views, walking track, toilets and picnic facilities.

There is carparking along Birdwood Avenue, off Surrey Street where there are toilets, bins and unshaded seats. This area is elevated and paths lead down to Cowies Creek which forms a lake in this area. There is a nice 1.2km walk which circles the lake. A bridge across the lake is closed but there is an alternative bridge on the western end. The track passes a Reflection Space with seats and a Bunjil mosaic.
