A big area of fenced bushland with a dirt path / cleared area around the outside perimeter and some more dirt tracks through the bushland area.
A creek runs through the forest which has lots of tall trees.
There are a number of people usually in the area but it is so spread-out that interaction with other dogs might end up being limited.
During summer there is the danger of snakes. No bins or water tap are provided. There is a rotunda located at the entrance to the forest.
Access is not very easy. There is limited parking outside Briars Park entry gate. Then walk up hill along a track for about 350 metres to the entrance gate. There is possible parking opposite Balcombe Grammar School. From here, walk down hill for about 100m to the entrance gate.
