There is an oval on the south side and another oval on the north side where the grass was being regenerated when we visited. There are separate entrances and car parks for the two ovals. Between the ovals is a playground and basketball court with table, bin, BBQ and water tap without a bowl.

The Plenty River Trail, where dogs need to be on leash, runs beside the river and along the western side of the reserve. There are steep thick banks leading down to the river and beware of snakes between October and March.

The most southerly part of the reserve has a good sized grassy area with a line of trees along the side. The west side of the southern oval has a pavilion with a fenced area with cricket nets and some bins.
