The beach located between the main Lorne Beach (where dogs are prohibited at all times) and near the Erskine River is a timeshare beach. The off leash area extends from near Grove Road at the southern end to near Doble Street at the northern end. The timeshare zone is active from 1 Dec to 28 Feb and over Easter. During this timeshare period no dogs are allowed from 9am-7pm (except on defined paths and on a leash). From 7pm-9am dogs are allowed in these areas off-leash but under effective control.
Outside the active timeshare zone dates dogs are allowed off leash but under effective control.
