Jacana Valley Dog Off Leash Area

An absolutely massive area - a sheep station wouldn't be out of place here. As far as the eye can see there are grassy areas which extend 1.5km from end to end. It's not complete heaven though because the area is very steep, there are very few trees for shade and there are no bins or a water tap. Way down the hill is the Broadmeadows Valley Trail which is next to the Moonee Ponds Creek. The grass is long in some areas but is any snake going to be bothered to slither this far up the hill?
