A path leads into the western part of the reserve from 26A Somerlayton Crescent. This area has massive grassy areas with trees around the outer edges with a path which leads down to the Merri Creek Trail.
As you head eastwards there is the Moomba Park Tennis Club, car park, oval with soccer goals, pavilion with bins and playground (south east of oval) with water tap with bowl and bins.
There is even more grassy area east of the carpark next to the playground.
