Alistair Knox Park West is a dog off leash area at all times but Susan Street oval is a dog off leash area when not in use or reserved by local schools and / or sporting clubs. The oval is mainly fenced but does have some gaps which provide access to the road. The pavilion has toilets (locked) and bins which are locked away in a cage and not able to be used. The reserve has a water fountain for humans and a regular garden tap that is unlocked and very handy for dogs. For those wanting a bit of rest as well as recreation there are seats located around the oval.
