Federation Park is located alongside the Lerderderg River. The park has a playground, grassed open spaces, water tap and public toilets.
Quite a big grassy area dotted with trees with a very steep bank down to the river. Next to a busy road with no fences. The water tap was only functional for people, not dogs.
Former Darley Camp
Within the rotunda are a series of historical panels and plaques commemorating the former Darley Camp. The Darley military camp was established nearby in 1940 as a training centre for thousands of women for the Australian Army, both in the Australian Women's Army Service (AWAS) and the Australian Army Medical Women's Service during the Second World War.
