Rupert Vance Moon Reserve is adjacent to the Lerderderg River. The off-leash area is from the bridge to the pump shed which is about 1.1km.
Next to the carpark, the reserve has three shelters with one table each, toilets, BBQ and water tap (without a bowl for dogs).
This area has a gravel path with a steep bank down to the river.
Beware of snakes during the warmer months.
