On the south side is a playground, shelter with BBQ and picnic tables, bin and water tap where someone has placed a bowl for dogs.
Dogs must be on leash within 15m of the playground and shared path which runs around the reserve. A huge grassy area with four soccer fields and a grassy area with trees to the north east. There are plenty of seats along the fields and on the side is a pavilion with bins and water tap with bowl.
The reserve is home to the Croydon & District Dog Obedience Club, Croydon Ranges Cricket Club and Croydon Ranges Football Club.
There is a walking track which is well protected from the railway line on the eastern side.
