Packer Park Dog Off Leash Area

There are two off-leash areas - the open space area located north of the sports ground and the area east of the creek. The sport and recreation facilities are all on-leash areas. These areas include the pavilion, sports ground, velodrome, picnic areas, bocce and bowls area, playground and ball sport areas.

The grassy northern area is pleasant and dotted with trees. There is a water tap with bowl and bin near the recreation area in the north east corner along Oakleigh Road which has a tennis rebound wall and basketball court.

The second area east of the creek / ponds is a big grassy area which connects to the other off-leash area. A lot of dogs were taking the opportunity to have a dip in the water.



There are bins in quite a few places and toilets near the playground.
