There are two ovals, one set higher on the north side with a playground and the other set lower on the south side. In the middle, between the ovals, is a pavilion, cricket nets, bins and carpark. Dogs are only allowed off leash on the lower oval area. Around the fringes of the southern oval there are grassy areas dotted with trees. It should be noted that dogs must be on leash within 30m of an organised sporting event. The west side of the park is bordered by busy Highfield Road.
In the south west corner of the upper area where dogs must be on leash there is an unfenced playground with two unshaded tables, BBQs and water tap.
