Dendy Street beach, which is 500 m long, with its boat sheds, is one of Melbourne's most photographed beaches and has good parking and access.
Off-leash Area:

Winter Season (1st Apr - 31st Oct)
Dogs are permitted off leash at all times
Summer Season (1st Nov - 31st Mar)
Dogs are permitted off leash from sunrise to 10am.
Dogs are prohibited on sand and foreshore area from 10am to 7:30pm.
Dogs are permitted on leash from 7:30pm to sunrise.
