Alexandra Battery Park is a dog off leash park except the Battery, the lookout and the car park. Alexandra Battery exists as one of six batteries built in the 1880's to form the Derwent River Defence Force Network. It has a large area of open space with a large old fort complex, including tunnels and store rooms. The site has a car park, doggy bag dispenser, seating and bins.
