Tallow Beach Dog Off Leash Area

The 1.7km long sandy Tallow Beach dog off leash beach extends from a point adjacent to Jarman Street, Suffolk Park, in a northerly direction to the boundary of the Arakwal National Park. Dogs are permitted in the inter-tidal zone only. Dog owners must keep their dogs off dune and dune rehabilitation areas. Parking is limited but easy enough to get street parking and walk a little bit to the beach. There is a playground, toilets and picnic area a small distance south of Jarman Street but dogs are prohibited in that area.
