Belongil Beach South Dog Off Leash Area

The 1.6km long Belongil Beach South dog off-leash area extends from a point adjacent to Manfred Street, Belongil in a south-easterly direction to a point on the western side of Main Beach car park. Dogs are permitted in the inter-tidal zone only. Dog owners must keep their dogs off dune and dune rehabilitation areas. Dogs are prohibited in Cumbebin Swamp Nature Reserve.

A lovely wide sandy dog beach which is not patrolled and is less crowded than some other beaches and offers long walks in either direction. Make sure you bring your own water for your dogs to drink as no fountain or tap available at the entrance to the beach. There is free parking in the area.
