Following the discovery of asbestos at Richard Podmore Reserve, the Canterbury-Bankstown council decided to remediate Richard Podmore Reserve as a passive park and relocate the fenced dog off-leash area to Wise Reserve in Riverwood. This is likely to happen in 2026.
