Split West Reserve is a dog off leash area excepting Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm. A great spot for an evening walk with the dog. Unleashed dogs are permitted on the beach and in the water all day Monday to Friday, and before 9am and after 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Play on the grassed area or walk the easy trail and enjoy the views. There is also a small beach area for a splash. There are public toilets, water taps with bowl and cafes nearby. Paid parking at Spit Reserve. Spit Reserve (West) is #4 on the map.
