The Great Mackerel Beach dog off-leash area is located between the public wharf and the northern boundary of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and is only accessible by ferry from Palm Beach, boat or a bushwalk. Dogs are permitted in the off-leash area between sunrise and 9:30am and 5pm and sunset. There are no toilets, water tap or shops but there is a bin. Bring everything you may need.
