Brightmore Reserve has a large sports oval where dogs are permitted to be off-leash when the area is not being used for organised sports. The reserve has an educational tricycle track which surrounds a playground, toilets, picnic tables, doggy bag dispenser, water taps, bins and dedicated car park. Dogs are only permitted in the grassed sections and must be leashed in the bushland sections of the reserve.
