Tunks Park Dog Off Leash Area

Tunks Park is a large park which extends from the foreshore of Long Bay west under the century-old Cammeray Suspension Bridge to Flat Rock Gully Reserve. The park is characterised by playing fields bordered by large sweeps of bushland and a lively foreshore area. The park features sports fields, playground with a tree-house theme, fitness equipment, informal walking tracks through the bushland, boat ramp, seats, picnic tables, toilets, water tap and bins.

A special feature for dogs is access to Long Bay which has calm waters which are ideal for swimming. Dogs are welcome off leash but are not permitted on the sports fields when organised sport is being played or within 10 metres of the playground. They must be kept on a leash in bushland areas.
