The western, middle section of Waverley Park is a dog off leash area at all times. Waverley Park has a range of sporting facilities (Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre, Waverley Oval, one synthetic field, one small field suitable for training and small games, three netball courts, three multi-purpose courts, one bocce court, two synthetic cricket nets and fitness stations), playground, BBQs, toilets (at Bondi Road end) and limited on-street parking.
