The south end of Dickson Park is a dog off-leash area at all times. Dickson Reserve has two distinct areas, separated by a steep embankment planted with shady she-oaks and fig trees. The upper park features a large dog-friendly grassed space and a half court with rings for casual basketball and netball. The lower park has a large adventure playground. There is ample shaded seating, shelter, picnic tables and bins throughout the reserve. There is limited on-street parking.
