There is a dog off-leash beach west of the Marina. The off-leash area extends southwards for a very long distance to Gretel Drive, Falcon with just a few areas where dogs are prohibited or must be on-leash. The main Halls Head Beach off-leash area extends from the western end of the groyne at the Peel Inlet entrance which forms part of Reserve 31499 west to the north eastern end of Janis Street, Halls Head (a length of about 350m). There is a toilet in the area.
