The park is a large open space reserve at the northern end of the Woodend township which is a dog off-leash area.
There is a playground (dogs on-leash within 5m of the playground) in the south east corner with unshaded table and seats. A huge grassy area with some shady trees on the side. A path runs along one side of the reserve and beside the path are some seats and a bin. There is a row of gum trees on the north side. No water tap.
