There are two baseball fields, a grassy area between the baseball fields and large grassy areas dotted with trees beyond the fields.

There are some seats to rest on. At the pavilion on the south side there is a water tap where someone has left a bowl, but no bins. The area is a flood retarding basin so it can get wet after rain.

Dogs may be exercised on the sports ground except during organised sporting activities or events.
