The northern part of Torquay Common is a dog off leash area except when organised events/sport are occurring or being prepared for. In this instance dogs must be on leash. There is car parking along Surf Beach Drive, south of Bell Street.

Green colour is off leash at all times, orange colour is off leash except during events (on-leash), red colour is dogs prohibited area, purple colour is timeshare zone.
