Old Lake Oval Dog Off Leash Area

This off-leash area is not well sign-posted and the actual off-leash area is confusing. There is a large area of bushland surrounding Old Lake Oval which has a velodrome track running around it. To the north is the Stawell Grampians Gate Caravan Park (which has an equally confusing booking system) so there is confusion all round! Near the entrance off Sutherland Street is a sign which shows a red area marked on a map but this doesn't seem to be either an inclusion or exclusion area. So it seems like you can roam around the whole but not into the caravan park area or the oval when it is being used by cyclists. The area does have a dam and waterways. Near the pavilion is a bin but there is no water tap.

It is located at the Old Lake Oval off Sutherland Street (between Burgh Street and Holloway Road).
