The Australian Light Horse Memorial Park covers 150 hectares and is part of the land which was Victoria's largest Army base, the Seymour Camp, known to many as site 17. Here, over 100 years ago, soldiers gathered to prepare for war. Now the park is a quiet and peaceful place that is a great day out for the whole family. Throughout the park there are scattered relics of the Army Camp days. You can walk your dog off leash at Lighthorse Park between the car park and Waler paddock.
