It's possible to make a 1.4 km walk (one way) along this narrow linear reserve. You can start from the intersection of Borg Crescent and Ferntree Gully Road, turn right after 80m and then follow the track which runs between the fences of houses and walls of industrial buildings. The initial part is a bit ugly but gradually there are more trees, more grass and more pleasantness. After 800m you reach the freeway wall. It is possible to walk parallel to the freeway wall for another 520m to George Street. This area is about 15m wide with thick grass and bushes but with a narrow track. There is no water tap or bin.
