The off leash area is the main grassy 'oval' which is surrounded by strips of bushland. There are some nice short walks through the bushland in the reserve, which occupies 7.2 ha, but they are on-leash.
Within the main grassy area, about 120m x 100m, which is a very pleasant location with the sound of bird's and no houses in view, there is a shelter with table where dog owners have left a crate of bottles with water and plastic bowls. There are no bins. In this area there is also an unshaded table and unshaded seats.
