From the west side, off Railway Parade, a path leads through the reserve with grassy areas dotted with trees and has fences of houses along the sides. There is a big sloping area to the north and the path branches off to the north up hill. This is a huge grassy area but a bit hilly.
On the east side, off Northumberland Road, is a car park, playground, bin, shelter with table, BBQ and water tap with bowl.
