Don Jackson Reserve Fenced Dog Park

A large fenced dog park, more than 6070 square metres in size, which has a quiet dog zone and a dog agility equipment area. The dog park has drinking fountains, seating, bins, paths and nature play areas.

The grassy park has double entry gates at the west and east end. At both ends there is a water tap with bowl and a bin. There is a concrete path circling the park within the fence. There's a quiet dog area which is fenced with an unshaded seat (it was a bit muddy near the gate). The park has some trees.

In the north west corner is an agility area with five elements (the hurdles were in a muddy area) and there are some pipe tunnels, logs and a rock mound.

There's a good sized car park near a shelter with a table and water tap. The only negative were the muddy areas after some wet weather.

The reserve, which is located between Ahern Road and Shetland Court, also has an oval with cricket pitch, playground and outdoor gym. There is a carpark in the north east corner off Ahern Road.
