North Melbourne Recreation Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

There is a dog off leash area around the oval but the oval itself is an on-leash area. The reserve is surrounded by busy roads without fences. There is a grassy knoll with trees on the north side together with some bins. On the western side is a multi-purpose court with soccer goals, basketball court, netball and outdoor gym. Beside the court are tables and a water tap without a bowl. To the south there is a tennis wall, basketball court and some more grassy area with trees. Unless you really want to see the North Melbourne football club train there are better places for a dog.
