A large scenic nature reserve on the banks of the Barwon River with riverside shared path which extends to the west for about 1.3km from the carpark.

There's a big car park on the east side of the river accessed from Queens Park Road / Louis Court. The carpark is next to a grassy area dotted with trees which has a unshaded table and seat. A path shared by walkers, cyclists and dogs leads along the river past a big pond (which had a blue-green algae warning). There are shaded seats along the path and you do need to be aware of snakes during the summer season.

If you cross the bridge over the river into Queens Park, at the car park there are toilets, shelter with table, unshaded tables and water tap with bowl.
