A very big fenced area which has five big gum trees for shade. The central area and the areas around the trees have a wood mulch surface but the rest of the park is grass.
There is an open waterway running through the park which the dogs seem to gravitate towards which can be an inconvenience if you need to take your wet and muddy dog home in the car. This is part of an Aquifer Storage and Recovery Scheme.
In the middle of the park are two seats. There are three entrances with double gates and bins with one access gate off Mernda Village Drive and two access gates off Perry Street. Outside one entrance is a shelter with table and BBQs plus a water tap with bowl.
