Time Restrictions
There is a 300m sandy beach with off leash dog access along the McCrae beach which starts at a point 25 metres east of the car park opposite Margaret Street in McCrea and continues eastwards.
Access for Dogs:
From 1 December - end of February
- Dogs are prohibited from the beach between 10am and 6pm.
- Leash free from 6pm to 10am the next day.
All Other Times of the Year (March-November)
- Dogs on-leash on the beach between 9am and 5pm.
- Leash free from 5pm to 9am the next day.
