There is usually plenty of car parking next to the Lawn Bowls Club (unless they are holding the Champion Lawn Bowls Day of course). A grassy area of a decent size which is not used for sports and is bordered on the side by a creek. There are no taps or bins. There is long grass on the north side near the creek and you need to beware of snakes. Further along there is actually a sign to confirm this which reads "Beware snakes October to April". If you cross the path on the east side, the grassy path continues up the hill where the grass is uncut and rather long, although there is a path worn by people (and dogs) on the side of this area.
