Appletree Hill Dog Off Leash Area

Appletree Hill Reserve is a small park with a dam on Little Bungalook Creek, a tributary of Dandenong Creek. The area outside of the fenced dam is a dog off-leash exercise. There are no formal paths in the reserve. The Eastwood Golf Club forms a border on the east side.

This place is named Appletree Hill but it doesn't feel like I'm on a hill and there isn't a single Apple tree to be seen! Instead there is a shallow grassy gully fringed with trees. There isn't a water tap or bin in the reserve. There are number of grates above drains and the area can get wet after rain. The grassy area continues to behind Jackson Reserve.
