The 250m long beach area from Wave Street to Ozone Street is a dog off leash area with seasonal restrictions.

At Wave Street sand erosion means that there can be a steep drop from the path down to the beach. It is better to access the beach at the Ozone Street end where there is a rubbish bin. A track leads through the trees to the beach. You can tell where the track is by the "Emergency Marker #36 sign".

The beach is nice and sandy but at high tide there is almost no beach remaining.

Time Restrictions

Designated off leash area seasonal restrictions apply.
Dogs are only permitted on-leash 1 Dec- 31 Jan and Easter school holidays 10am-6pm. They can be off-leash all other times.
