Herne Hill Reserve has a netball court, two large ovals with pavilions one with a turf wicket, and an adjoining hard wicket ground. There are also four hard wicket training nets, netball court, pavilion, toilets and a playground.

The facilities are used by St Josephs Football and Netball Club and St Peters Cricket Club.

There is a centrally located pavilion with bins and a water tap where someone has placed a bowl.

Note: Sporting grounds and ovals in the Greater Geelong area can be used for dog off leash activities outside of regular sport or training times.
