On the western side of the reserve which has a playground, outdoor gym and basic skate park is a rectangular grassy area with soccer fields which have some soccer goal frames. This area is 180m x 140m in size and is fringed by a few trees.
The noisy Citylink freeway is on the south side which the Gardiners Creek Trail runs beside. A path runs along the northern side of the oval. There are bins in the north east and north west corners of the oval and a water station near the skate park.
