Most of the reserve is occupied by an Athletics Track where dogs are not allowed and a pavilion. There is some grassy area north of the pavilion and long jump area which is bordered on one side by the Plenty River Trail. This area doesn't have any shade from trees. There is a bin near the pavilion and toilets with water tap and bowl in the south western corner of the reserve.
